However, it’s simpler to be joyful when the glass is half full because you know there’s still room for more. You may look back to your past and recall your lessons learned but stop living with it. Living in the past is like a quicksand slowly drowning you. You can join a group or team with similar goals to yours, strive for a job promotion, or look for something better. Feel free to look for places where you can find the contentment you want.
Cherish What You Have.
The cautionary tale, the grass is always greener on the other side, hinted that you must cherish what you have. Those who are unhappy with the way things are will never be happy. Don’t make happiness a condition of achieving a milestone goal. Cherish even the little things. Appreciate what’s on the table, in your pocket, a peaceful working environment, your work itself, and the positive people surrounding you.
